Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome, who are actively seeking to employ a **Production Planner** to join their company on a permanent basis.

**What you will be doing**:
The Production Planner coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within manufacturing departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. To ensure all products and services are available to production on time with the right quality.
- Material planning from source material to customers, analyse finished goods inventory, customer service on time delivery levels, stocking decisions, forecasting and administrative controls.
- Review and plan capacity requirements on a weekly basis based on customer demands. Make any adjustments to the production plan where necessary.
- Update the Production data spreadsheet, Production Status reports, Monthly production materials requirements, update Job changes each week, update the People Plan and other reports required by the production and material control teams.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft products; strong computer skills on MS Excel and MS Access.
- Strong organisational and communication skills. Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks with strict deadlines.
- Previous manufacturing planning environment preferred.

**What you will receive in return**:

- **£34,000 per annum**:

- **Monday to Friday - full time**
