**Full time: 35 hours per week**
**Fixed term contract: 6 months
We are looking for an Assistant Archivist to carry out specific collections management tasks on Scottish Studies collections for 6 months.
**The Opportunity**:
This post will undertake collection management tasks to consolidate some of the Scottish Studies collections, identifying uncatalogued and duplicate materials and sorting them for retention, cataloguing or disposal.
**Your skills and attributes for success**
- Experience of working in an archive, library or research environment
- Accurate and methodical approach to work
- Good IT skills for gathering data
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
