Buyback Supervisor

BuyBack Supervisor - Pawnbroker required for Nathan & Co London (Tooting & Peckham).

The main duties include:

- supporting store management in daily tasks
- adhering to company's compliance and other procedures at all times
- serving customers predominantly in buy back and electrical items sales according to company procedures.
- serving customers in pawnbroking, jewellery, gold buying, foreign exchange and other services provided by the company
- providing excellent customer service
- cash handling and cashing up
- making sure the customer and staff areas are tidy and presented up to company's standard
- cleaning, pricing and displaying (gold and silver) jewellery and electrical stock for sale
- admin work including filing the paperwork and stock takes
- dealing with telephone enquiries
- testing and appraising electrical items (buyback)
- testing and appraising precious metal and stones
- other duties as required

About you:

- eligible to work full time in the UK
- previous electrical sales or buyback experience will be an advantage
- generally tech savvy, with a passion for gadgets and a 'can-do' attitude
- pawnbroking or jewellery sales experience will also be an advantage
- cash handling experience
- good numeracy skills
- ability to learn and adapt
- self-starter with high motivation levels
- IT literate
- friendly, outgoing personality - able to form professional relationships with customers
- very good English language skills
- accurate, with attention to detail
- excellent team work and communication skills
- honest and reliable
- sociable
