Quality Advisor

As a very profitable site producing circa 20,000 tonnes of product per year, we have continued to grow at an impressive rate, with those growth plans set to accelerate further still, we need an experienced and strong-willed Quality Advisor on a Fixed TermContract (12 months).

**BASIC SALARY**: £55,000 - £60,000

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Quality Advisor - Technical Consumable, Industrial Manufacturing

As our Quality Advisor you will be responsible for helping drive quality improvement through policy implementation and procedural change. You will encourage open promotion of a quality culture in the workplace and will be supported by a progressive and extremelyapproachable and realistic Head of Safety & Sustainability, and a senior leadership team who will welcome change and improvement across the site.

You will also be responsible for the following:

- Assisting in the day-to-day management, upkeep, and effectiveness of our quality management systems, policies, and procedures
- Maintaining document control to enable effective communication and execution of quality, environmental & sustainable performance
- Help ensure safe operating practices including appropriate control of contractors and permits

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Quality Advisor - Technical Consumable, Industrial Manufacturing

You will be an experienced QEH&S Advisor ideally with good knowledge of REACH / COSHH / COMAH regulations. Looking to use your previous experience and Scientific / Mechanical / Chemical engineering-based work experience to help drive positive change and maintainour high standard of Quality on site.

In addition, you will ideally have:

- A formal EH&S qualification to a minimum of NEBOSH and a working knowledge of ISO9001
- Excellent attention to detail with high levels of computer literacy
- Ideally experienced in SAP / Oracle or similar modular based systems
- Awareness of regulatory frameworks ( REACH / RFI / Proprietary MSDS systems)
- Able to develop and deliver internal training

We are a synthetic resin manufacturer based in the UK. We produce an ever-widening range of resins primarily based on unsaturated polyester and alkyd chemistry. We also manufacture a range of speciality resins with urethane, epoxy and acrylic functionality.
