The Lymphoedema service are a team of specialist practitioners, assistant practitioners and healthcare assistants with expertise in the care and treatmentof lymphoedema supported by our administrative team. We offer a service to patients in Kent and Medway.
We provide education, advice and support to empower our clients, relatives and carers to manage their condition. We also provide lifestyle advice including skin care, exercise and movement, managing your weight and the preventionof cellulitis.
We are currently looking for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join our team.
You will work as a member of the Lymphoedema team providing planned programmes of nursing care and specialist Lymphoedema treatments to patients under the guidance of the Lymphoedema Practitioner.
You will work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends and carers, who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services. Band 4s are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services provided across the health economy.
**Additional Working Pattern**: 37.5 Hours. 5 days. Between 8-5
