Graphic Designer

We are looking for a highly talented graphic designer to join our marketing team. With a background in design for retail, you’ll be part of a fast-paced marketing team, supporting the sell through of beautiful cards, art and gifts designed and made in Cornwall. It’s essential you are driven, enthusiast and don’t crumble under pressure. No two days will be the same and you’ll need to manage your workload efficiently, reporting progress and seeking approval of projects from our marketing manager.

**Essential skills**
- An established graphic designer with a track record of producing stunning work in a commercial environment and a portfolio to back this up
- Able to closely follow and correctly interpret brand guidelines to produce consistent artwork that is in line with company image
- Have a high attention to detail; we are looking for a perfectionist when it comes to interpreting briefs and brand guidelines and turning them into design assets
- Excellent photography skills with previous experience in studios with knowledge of lighting, manual adjustments and followed up with first class editing skills
- Adobe Photoshop for photo editing and formatting including masking, colour correcting and retouching tools and timeline creating animated gifs
- Adobe Illustrator for manipulation of illustrative elements and creating vector based graphics
- Adobe InDesign for layout and production of print materials

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the marketing team with the creation of creative marketing assets through high quality photography of flat lays and studio sets
- Produce the highest standard of product web images through in-studio photography, creating and formatting assets for our website
- Own the creation of campaign artwork such as competitions, sales and advertising, producing multi media assets that can be cascaded through to production

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
