**Job Description**:
**Principal Accountabilities**
- Key member of the MEA and Platform R&D teams
- Contribute to product roadmaps
- Assist in identification of potential areas for innovation

**Person Specification**
- Electrochemical testing and/or development experience
- Experience with of working with fuel cells, electrolysers and/or sensors
- Understanding of electrochemical material testing methodologies
- History of working in a dynamic product development environment

**Qualifications**:
Essential
- Degree in relevant scientific or engineering discipline (chemistry, chemical engineering, etc.)
- PhD or comparable industrial experience in relevant areas such as sensors, electrolysis, fuel cells, electrochemical devices or similar
- Experience of working in an industrial research environment
- Proven ability to add innovation to electrochemical products
- Use of methodical processes to solve complex issues
- Self-starter able to work both autonomously and part of a team
- Good oral and written communication skills

Desired
- In-depth knowledge of fuel cells, electrolysers and/or sensors
- In-depth knowledge of electrochemical methods for evaluating materials
- Experience with electrochemical product development
