The Resuscitation Department at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a part-time (0.6 WTE) Resuscitation Officer. The successful applicant will be a UK registered nurse or suitably qualified allied healthcare professional with recent experience of working in an acute care environment.

The successful applicant will have a recognised Resuscitation Council UK instructor qualification and/or proven experience in clinical teaching. In addition, they will hold a Resuscitation Council UK provider certificate in at least one of the following courses; Immediate Life Support (ILS), Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS) or Newborn Life Support (NLS) or be willing to work towards this. They should be motivated and enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and be able to engage with all levels of staff, patients, carers and visitors.
