**£17.01 per hour (£35,380 per annum)**

**Permanent role - double day shift**

06.00 - 14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00 - 13.00 Friday

14.00 - 22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00 - 20.00 Friday

A permanent role, the Production Team Leader is responsible for meeting the production plan for their cell, working closely with other Team Leaders and the Conversion Manager to ensure productivity, waste, and process improvement targets are achieved.

**Duties to include**
- Ensure the effective running of the production function on a day to day basis
- Develop the team and department to deliver the site production plan in line with divisional/group initiatives to achieve service excellence
- Co-ordinate work activities within the team, making appropriate decisions for the customers and exceeding their expectations
- Through the team, have responsibility for KPI monitoring and reporting, notably safety, OTIF, waste, quality, complaints and DPPM analysis
- Drive productivity through effective monitoring of process performance to ensure the production plan can be delivered
- Direct line management of production team members including performance management, absence management and reporting
- Manage the annual performance review process with learning and development needs identified for direct reports
- Identify, investigate and resolve day-to-day general management issues that arise, supervising individuals as appropriate and supporting the team with queries and concerns to develop an environment of trust and support that will encourage engagement and individual development

**About you**
- It is essential to have experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment
- It would be advantageous to have experience working within a corrugated packaging environment
- Display a strong safety ethos
- Knowledge of MS Office tools, including MS Excel
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business and to brief their team as necessary
