**About us**

C&N Chambers Seafood we are a shellfish processing factory here in Kilkeel, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. We seek to recruit a Quality Assurance (QA) person to join our growing team. We process Cooked Shellfish & Raw Shellfish and supply our product's World Wide. This position is new to our business and has potential to grow within the company.

The Quality Assurance person is responsible for assuring that C&N Chambers Seafood manufacturing processes comply with customer requirements and regulatory standards. This position will also be responsible for ensuring that all QC metrics are being met, ensuring that all QC reports are being generated in a timely manner, and assuring that all QC documentation is being maintained as required. The position will also be responsible for assisting in the development of new procedures, as well as reviewing and assuring compliance with the standard operating procedures. The position will also be responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process is being monitored through hands-on involvement with staff throughout the process from start to finish. The position will also be responsible for assisting in the development of new procedures, as well as assuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Dealing & keeping our HACCP system up to date.
- Keeping our Health & Safety standards up to date.
- Monitoring production processes and activities to ensure customer, legislative and Company expectations are being met.
- Carrying out finished product checks on all product and recording findings on quality documentation including product weight checks and label checks.
- Conducting internal Audits.
- Prepare and assist with customer audits.
- Dealing with customer query's & documentation.
- Conducting Daily start up inspections.
- Ensuring traceability information is captured.
- Carry out daily routine checks (temperature monitoring).
- Carry out daily product spec checks.
- Ensuring all corrective actions raised whilst carrying out duties are closed off and agreed by Production Manager & CEO.
- Cleaning is carried out to set standards to ensure there are no food or allergen residues present in critical areas.
- PPE required for the tasks carried out is worn at all times.

**Qualifications**
- 1+year food factory experience.
- Food Industry qualification eg Food Technology.
- Experience monitoring and analyzing data, analyzing results, and reporting on these results.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required (Word & Excel).

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
