**At an exciting time of growth for the organisation they are seeking to appoint a Trainee Bid Writer.**

Based at their Swansea office this role would suit someone looking to start a career in Bid writing or pre-construction commercial management. Full training is provided including mentoring to ensure future career development.

This role will assist and support the Bid Manager in identifying potential opportunities and obtaining and completing documents for them. A positive attitude to work is essential in a reactive environment.

**The Role**

**Supporting the Bid Manager by**:

- Reading and analysing tender documents in order to fully understand requirements.
- Assisting in collating tender question responses

**Supporting the Bid Administrator with**:

- Ensuring data integrity and document control
- Updating and maintenance of tender and accreditation portals
- Assisting in putting bids together including questionnaires, PQQs and collation of relevant evidence documents
- Uploading and submitting tenders prior to submission deadlines and monitoring for clarification messages/results
- Complete supplier questionnaires/forms in order to comply with customer requirements and collate supporting evidence to send back to the client as required
- Able to demonstrate an organised and methodical approach to work
- A good knowledge of Office 365 - Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language - Welsh speaker also preferred.
- Highly organised and comfortable working in an evolving environment
- A-level or equivalent qualification

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (9:00-17:00) based in the clients Swansea office.

**Salary**: Up to £22,000.00 per year
