Assembler and Inspector

Due to an increase in business, our client in Letchworth is looking to recruit a new Assembly / Inspector. This is a good opportunity to get into an inspector position within manufacturing. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail. If you have engineering / assembly knowledge and enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, please apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components and products
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if require

Working hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Sunday £11.80 to start - working 5 out of 7 days each week (flexible working 40-hour week) overtime at time and third after 40 hours per week
