Alfa Staff - Quality Inspector

Alfa Staff are currently looking to recruit a Q/A Inspector for our Client based in the Caerphilly area.

**The hours of work** are 7am to 4pm or 7.30am to 4.30pm - Flexibility is required. Overtime may be required.

Starting Salary - £11.00 per hour rising to £23,750 after a qualifying 3-month probationary period. The salary then increases to £25,000 after a further 3 months.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Provide a consistent level of quality support, meeting agreed levels or targets and forecasts, while maintaining required quality standards and ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate.
- Liaise with all departments to identify VOC trends for manufacturing & Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with your Team Leaders / Line Managers and individual employees to ensure that your areas are working to the best efficiency.
- Ensure that all procedures are strictly adhered to, including HR, H&S, Quality & Production etc.
- Ensure fault analysis (DATA/NCR) is completed on rejected product with added support to product repairs/rework.
- Ensure all inspection criteria / targets are completed for end of day production.
- Ensure customers’ expectations are met or exceeded by ensuring products are in line with quality processes, accreditations and with the customer’s demands.
- Ensure general site safety i.e. that all fire exits and escape routes are not obstructed at any time and report any PSI’s to the Quality Manager.
- Site Visits carrying out complaint audits.
- Completing site visit reports

The successful applicant must have experience of Quality inspection checking in goods in / out.

Driving License would be required along with access to a vehicle.
