As a Legal and Business Development Associate at AAT, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward and establishing strategic partnerships. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where your contributions will directly shape the future of the cultivated meat industry.

Tasks
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement the company's strategic vision and goals.
- Assist in drafting contracts, providing valuable insights and expertise.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and customer agreements.
- Set up and enforce key company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Provide legal guidance to various departments within the company, including product development, marketing, and operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to identify potential legal risks and propose solutions.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations impacting the food tech industry.
- Assist in managing and maintaining the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and copyrights.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, such as food safety and labelling requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in corporate law, public policy or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective internal and external communication and grant writing.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including spreadsheets and project management software.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Familiarity with intellectual property law.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the food tech industry.
