**Job Title**: IT Tutor / Lecturer
**Location: **Newcastle
**Salary/Package: **£33,700 - £42,500 (Depending on skills and experience)
**Type: **Full Time, Permanent
- Must hold a recognised Post-16 Teaching qualification: PTLLS/PGCE/CertEd or equivalent.
- Must hold own IT qualification at Degree level or a similar industry-recognised qualification in a relevant field.
- Must hold solid knowledge/experience across any of the following areas:
- Programming (Java; C#; ASP.Net; Python);
- Software Development (Information systems; Systems Analysis; Project Management; Project Lifecycle);
- Cyber Security & Networking (Cisco routers and switches; Ethical hacking; Penetration Testing);
- Big Data & Business Analytics;
- Web Development;
- Internet Of Things;
- Data Modelling;
- IT Support;
**Duties include**:
- Teach/assess learners across IT/Computing based programmes from Entry Level to Level 7.
- Design and develop high quality learning programmes.
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Provide advice and guidance relating to work-based projects and personal development.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
