If you are a customer focused Commercial Manager looking for your next role, we want to hear from you Denholm currently have an excellent opportunity with one of our clients, a British retail bank, who are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to join theirteam.
In this role you will be required to manage the commercial aspects of travel money pricing and optimise business revenue. You will execute pricing recommendation in line with a developing strategy and provide commercial analysis with a view to optimise businessrevenue.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Track budgets and forecasts, report variances within revenue to more senior colleagues.
- Conduct research using primary and secondary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends. Producing reports for senior management making recommendations based on the data.
- Contribute information to business cases to quantify current income, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment.
- Take ownership of specific workstreams or project/product plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized to deliver product objectives.
- Review existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.
- Monitor specific aspects of pricing life cycle, including long and short-term development. Perform analyses to stay abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position.

- Interprets and applies key financial indicators to make better business decisions. Studies financial and quantitative information; uses data to improve performance.
- Monitors business news and market changes for impact on the business or on own expertise area; uses this to shape decisions.
- Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
- Advanced Excel/VBA Skills
- SAS skills desirable - will complete a SAS course if this is not a current skill.
- Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.
