**Summary of Duties**

This role is the face at the entrance of our hotel. Our receptionist will meet and greet our guests and manage the day to day hotel enquiries, manage bookings, complete check ins,

**Key Accountabilities**:
1. Deal and respond with all guest and customer enquiries in an efficient and satisfactory manner This includes information on the hotel, location, hotel services, events, restaurant and bar, special occasion and events.

2. Ensure that all transactions are fully processed and accounted for through our booking system and the balance and checks are complete and accurate

3. Communicate effectively in a friendly but professional manner to guests and internal staff. Deal with all hotel administration.

4. Assist in the management of any promotions, events or special occasions.

5. Liaise with other department to ensure that our guests experienced is optimised liaise with

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum of a C grade in English and Maths GCSE or equivalent qualification
- Must have at least 2 years receptionist experience in a customer facing environment
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a diverse workload
- Must be able to demonstrate a proficient knowledge of using MS Office
- Must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of a booking processes, managing transactions, voucher redeeming and all within a booking system software
- Must be able to demonstrate their communication skills and professional approach

**Desirable Criteria**
- Previous specific reception training within a hotel environment
- Booking system knowledge
- Customer Service Training.
