Service Supervisor

Econ Engineering Limited is the UK's largest supplier of winter maintenance vehicles, and due to its continued growth, is currently looking to recruit a service supervisor to be based at our Alloa depot.

The successful applicant will work alongside our current team to organise and manage Econ’s engineers, support customers, and maintain our fleet from our base in Alloa, whilst liaising with the Sowerby Hire and Ripon Factory offices.

The job also includes the management of the workshop, so will require a hands-on approach throughout. Some field working will be involved, where you may be required to inspect or quality check vehicles, therefore a Category C / Class 2 license would be beneficial.

You will report to the Service Manager - Scotland.

**Key responsibilities**
- Allocating engineer workloads, from regular routine inspections to reactive breakdown repairs.
- Liaising with customers as required to manage inspections, repairs and vehicle movements.
- Organising and manage the summer servicing of allocated vehicles in the required timeframe.
- Ordering parts as required and the management of these whilst maintaining a clean and tidy stores area.
- Conducting quarterly stock checks of workshop and vans.
- Assisting with preparing all estimates for work to be carried out.
- Assisting with some inspections and repairs.
- Ensuring that all paperwork is received back in a timely manner from engineers.

The role will consist of 40 hours per week; however, a flexible approach will be required especially during the winter hire period.

You will receive a competitive salary, plus bonus, overtime, and pension payments.
