This is a great opportunity to join an incredibly friendly, popular and well established 5 star property lettings team in Birmingham.

Edgbaston Lettings have been providing accommodation for Birmingham's professional community for over 20 years and are looking to expand our ambitions and our team.

Initially the role is a 6 month maternity cover position but with the potential for onwards employment for a keen and successful member of the team.

This is an active and varied role; definitely one of the most interesting jobs you could undertake. It is so much more than mere lettings and administration. No two days are ever the same and the role comes with great flexibility of duties and experiences to be gained.

DUTIES:

- Assist in the creating and placement of advertising
- Follow up on property enquiries
- Viewing and letting of rooms in professional house shares, flats and houses.
- Meet and show rooms and properties to prospective client tenants
- Organise an appointments diary for clients and contractors
- Undertake a wide range of administrative duties relating to the letting of property : tenancy, referencing, deposit and many other administration responsibilities.
- Inventories : Carrying out digital photographic inventories of properties
- After-sales customer care : tenant communications and customer service
- Maintenance scheduling : process property maintenance issues and support their organisation and resolution working with the maintenance team

EXPERIENCE:

- Previous lettings experience welcome but not essential
- Familiar with general administration and use of computer-based management systems
- Must be a 'people person' and be motivated by improving peoples' living experiences
- Familiarity with property management and administrative processes welcome but not essential
- Ability to be self-motivated in task management as well as working positively as a member of a close-knit friendly team

OTHER INFORMATION
- The role is roughly 50% office based and 50% out and about on appointments and tasks.

**Salary**: £21,700.00-£25,000.00 per year
