Npi Engineer

The HireWorks are delighted to be working with a Global Manufacturing Company to assist with the recruitment of an NPI Engineer.

You will work collaboratively with the Design Engineers to successfully transition prototype designs or redesigns into a production released state product.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Inspection and evaluation of first production.
- Liaising with design engineers for QA.
- Building of pre-production batch and notify of issues to design engineers.
- Validate Bill of Materials.
- Test of mechanical system to then collect and analyse the data produced.
- Development of SOP procedures.
- Training of production operatives.
- Support design and manufacture of jigs.
- Supporting engineering with prototype build and characterization using engineering measuring techniques.
- Support production team.

**You will have**:

- Knowledge of Mechanical Manufacturing assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of testing techniques for mechanical/electronics products.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills written and verbal
- Ability to interpret standard operating procedures together with mechanical/engineering and assembly drawings.
- Ability to identify and resolve design and assembly problems.
