Job Introduction
ROLE OF THE JOB
To deliver English Language over our delivery sites to ESOL learners with varying starting point, from pre-entry to Level 2.
To fulfil the lecturer duties and key results as described in the job description.
The key responsibilities are:
- To Delivering English language to various groups of ESOL learners.
- To demonstrate effective classroom management and deliver good or outstanding teaching and learning.
- To carry out initial assessments of learner’s skills to identify starting points and produce individual learning plans and developmental plans.
- To prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and use innovative methods of delivery for effective developmental progression for all learners.
- To maintain quality assurance records
- To prepare learners for examination or assessment
Team of 3 lecturers delivering over 3 sites with good results against the national benchmark of achievement.
Type of person we are looking for:
- Flexible and experienced in teaching ESOL learners from, motivated and consistent with delivery.
- Blyth - Contract type - Full time permanent
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
- PGCE/ CERT ED CELTA
- Valid UK driving license
- Experience of working with ESOL learners delivering English language
