We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible person to work as a a Holiday Club Assistant in our very successful Holiday Club. The post holder will support the Club Manager in ensuring that Brook Farm Boomerangs Holiday Club provides high quality childcare, within a positive, safe and happy environment, in line with the policies and procedures of the club and Brook Farm Children's Nursery.

We love to romp in the countryside and fill young children's lungs with fresh air Feed the lambs, calves, pigs and hens and collect fresh eggs to take home and eat - yum Build a dam in the beck Make a scarecrow Toast marshmallows on the campfire Build a dry stone wall

All that and more with our energy-filled timetable of activities, run by the talented and caring staff at Brook Farm Children's Nursery, in the picturesque village of Kelbrook, near Barnoldswick.

Our unique 75-acre farm location is idyllic, with a dedicated football pitch for fun sports and games, animals to look after, meadows to explore, wildlife challenges, gardens, veg patches, an adventure playground plus fantastic indoor space for arts, crafts and lots of fun.

Our setting enjoys an excellent reputation in the community and is regularly over-subscribed. We are proud of our positive, family atmosphere, and the emphasis placed on mutual respect.

We are looking to fill vacancies in our holiday club throughout the school holidays.

The post holder will assist in the planning and preparation of a programme of activities and in the completion of all relevant paperwork and administration. The post holder will undertake duties under the direction of the Club Manager.

The contract would be on a casual basis dependent on the number of children attending the out of school club.

The holiday club shifts will vary between the times of 8am-6pm

The number of hours working can vary throughout the holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 45 per week

**Salary**: From £9.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barnoldswick, BB18 6TS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
