Teaching Assistant / LSA - Northampton

Are you looking for a rewarding role working with a pupil on a 1:1 basis?
**Competitive pay rate (70-80 per day)
**Full-time position on a long-term basis until at least the end of the academic year
Tradewind is currently working with a Primary Academy based in the heart of Northampton who are seeking a LSA to work 1:1 with a pupil in Year 2 who is on the autistic spectrum. The successful applicant will need to be fully confident in helping the studentaccess the curriculum and be able to use programmes such as Makaton or Pecs. The role is demanding and requires someone who has specifically worked with children of a primary aged on the autistic spectrum (non-verbal).
What we are looking for (Criteria):

- Degree qualified or completed relevant SEN qualifications
- Experience working with children on the autistic spectrum
- Knowledge of EHCP plans, Makaton, and Pecs
- Childcare experience (Min 6 months within the last 2 years)
- Passionate, patient, and caring personality
- Someone is willing to learn and looking to progress within the education sector
- Team player, confident and a effective communicator
