**About the Transport Team Manager**:
At Bidfood, we recognise that the quality of our Transport teams is instrumental to our success. Our Transport Team Manager needs to be able to recruit, induct, train, mentor and engage their teams, to inspire them to be the best they can be.

You will manage the daily operation and performance of the Transport department in order to provide the expected service to internal and external customers. In doing so, you will make sure that all goods delivered to designated delivery points in the timescalerequired.

You will ensure effective teamwork within the Transport Department and that all Transport employees adhere to the required standards of performance.

You will be responsible for ensuring standards of customer service exceed what the company requires.

You will maintain all Company equipment, including commercial vehicles, to a high standard and make sure all relevant records maintained in order to conform to legislation as well as maintaining all documentation relating to tachographs and driver hours.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have
- Very strong people management and development skills
- The ability to build strong relationships with other departments

**Previous experience in a similar role and CPC qualification is essential.**

An HGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
