A leading consultancy in the UK are looking for a Transformation Project Managed to work within the insurance sector.
Hybrid working Model
£74,000 + generous car allowance.
Permanent Position.
MUST HAVES
5 years Project Management experience
Experience with Business transformation and change
Familiar with IT, Technology and operations projects
Preferred Industry background is consultancies or Insurance.
**The role**:
We are seeking a Manager to deliver, and manage transformation engagements in the Insurance sector. The role will also require supporting major bids and proposals, and delivering streams of work within complex transformation programmes.
Our Insurance Transformation Services team, within the Management Consulting practice, is a priority growth area for the consultancy with significant investment plans and big growth ambitions. **The main duties and responsibilities of the job**:
Using Insurance experience and knowledge, lead small engagements including setting up the engagement, scoping the work, planning the work and briefing and leading a team of consultants.
Autonomously and efficiently manage large scale client engagements
Managing senior client stakeholders to ensure that they are happy with the progress and deliverables
Participating in business development activities such as responding to RFPs (requests for proposals) and presenting or pitching to clients to win new business
Managing and developing junior members of the team
**Skills, qualifications and experience required for the role**:
Project/Programme Management experience to include establishing programme management mechanisms and procedures, including ensuring a suitable governance structure is in place, reporting programme status, progress, milestones, budget, risks & issues to therelevant forums and escalation as appropriate, planning, risk & assurance, communication flow, work stream charters, and financial & budget
Experience working in the Insurance sector (preferably General Insurance and Commercial speciality) is essential.
In-depth understanding of the key industry, market and regulatory drivers shaping the Insurance industry and an ability to articulate these by way of client opportunities.
Experience of managing and mentoring staff and helping with their personal and professional development.
The Insurance Transformation Services practice focuses on the delivery of strategic changes that encompass innovation, customer experience, growth transformation, regulatory change and large-scale cost reduction/efficiency improvements.
