**Job Description - Deputy Head Housekeeper**

Title: Deputy Head Housekeeper

Reports to: General Manager / Head Housekeeper

The Deputy Head Housekeeper will be responsible for assisting the Head Housekeeper in all areas including operational and admin tasks. They must have an absolute commitment to provide the highest quality service for our customers.

- Supporting the Housekeeping Manager in all aspects of the role.
- Ensuring all rooms are cleaned/restocked to the highest standards following the housekeeping procedures in both Hotel and Apartments.
- Reporting any problems back to the Head Housekeeper.
- Carry out regular training with teams and complete physical records to confirm training and also flag any training issues with HR/Head Housekeeper.
- Responsible for leading day to day operations.
- Helping prepare staff rotas with respects to the needs of the business.
- Must lead by example and role model the expected behaviours while projecting a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
- Monitor and action customer feedback in a professional manner.
- Assisting the Housekeeping Manager with budgets and controlling expenses.
- Working closely with the Reception and the manager on duty to help support.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Neville Street, NE1 5DF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- housekeeping: 2 years (preferred)
