Working Hours

06:00-14:00 Saturday&Sunday

About the role

As an Amenities Operative you will achieve required hygiene/ cleaning standards with the team for Avara Foods.

**Duties include**:

- Handing out fresh coats, PPE kit at start of shift
- Loading washing machines and drying coats etc
- Cleaning offices, canteen, toilet
- To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards required by Amenities team.
- Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
- To carry out instructions as given to you by your Team Leader/Manager

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Our advanced manufacturing site in Hereford is one of our main processing facilities, processing up to 2 million birds per week. There are over 1500 talented people employed at our Hereford site, helping us to deliver high quality products to our customers and making the business a trusted leader in fresh foods. We've recently invested £1.2 million in technology and equipment, making it one of the most advanced food manufacturing facilities in the UK.

Due to Bird Welfare, it is essential that you do not own any Avian Pets or Poultry.
