Browne & Day have opened a brand new, purpose built Filling Station with all the luxury of modern convenience in our Costcutter store. We are a family run business operating in Claudy for almost 70 years and we pride ourselves in customer service and satisfaction.

We are currently seeking an experienced person to cook within our deli counter area. The appointed person would be responsible for planning and preparing a high quality daily offering of hot & cold food options, completing HACCP and other relevant paperwork and ensuring food wastage is kept to a minimum. They should also provide first class customer service and ensure high level hygiene standards are met.
- At least 2 years’ cooking experience in a serviced food role
- A positive attitude and good organisational skills
- A great eye for detail and pride themselves on presentation
- Good Practical Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures
- minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
- Commercial Awareness, and ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs and profitability. Ensuring correct portion control, weighing, labelling and pricing

Hours of work - Monday to Sunday 16hrs per week (Rotational Weekends, 6.30am start) Additional hours may be required to cover holiday absences

Criteria may be enhanced if required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: From £9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Catering management: 2 years (preferred)
