Greenkeeper

At Pennant Park Golf Club, Whitford, Holywell. CH8 9ER we are looking for an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our professional green keeping team on the start of exciting new project that is under new ownership and management.

Position is based on a permanent 40 hour week with weekend morning work at times required on a rota basis.

- Maintain the overall appearance and health of the golf course or grounds
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming grass
- Irrigate and water plants, trees, and turf as needed
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and other greenery
- Operate and maintain power tools and equipment for greenkeeping tasks
- Build and repair structures such as fences, benches, and pathways
- Dig holes for planting or installation purposes
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects as directed

- Previous experience in greenkeeping essential
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
