The purpose of the Quality Manager is to implement, embed and oversee all Governance, Assurance and Quality aspects and activity within Learning Delivery, ensuring legislative (statutory legal) and mandatory (Cadent specific) compliance. We're looking fora Subject Matter expert in areas of quality, governance and assurance of technical training is essential as the function needs to ensure that the appropriate framework is implemented and managed for all training products and records.

**Day to Day duties**

To lead on all Quality, Governance and Assurance activity within the Learning Delivery function, including...
- Implementing the agreed Governance, Assurance and Quality framework for Learning Delivery across the function and setting up the appropriate mechanisms to deliver all aspects
- Carrying out audits, creating reports and making recommendations as appropriate with our internal and external teams/suppliers - tracking actions to closure
- Co-Chairing/Attending the LD Governance forum as an independent advisor
- Ensuring that the cyclical G, A & Q activity is delivered throughout the function
- Maintaining a product and policy matrix and notifying the relevant team members when changes are required to materials, tools, methodology etc. Ensuring that the relevant changes are applied as appropriate.
- Representing Learning Delivery at Cadent Governance forums such as BPAC, SEPAC. (Approval Forums)
- Creating and owning the Learning Delivery Quality, Assurance and Quality policies and procedures
- Leading all IQA/EQA activity across the function
- Ensuring that our Trainers and Assessors have the relevant qualifications, skills and knowledge to carry out Assessment/IQA activity as appropriate
- Leading on quality assurance activities such as standardisation meetings
- Implementing the relevant SLAs (and agreeing the percentage checks required across the Learning Delivery function) for the Governance, Assurance and Quality aspects and ensuring that the teams achieve these.
- Working in partnership with other functions (such as Safety, Engineering, COO and Regulation) to ensure that all Learning Delivery activity follows the guidelines, policies, procedures and best practice in place
- Ensuring the Learning Delivery function is compliant with all awarding bodies and industry bodies requirements
- Leading on external audit visits and evidencing to the auditors LD compliance to requirements as needed
- Putting in place the appropriate measures to ensure that all third-party training suppliers are to the required standard, auditing and verifying as appropriate
- Site visits to validate training sites are fit for purpose and align to expected standards
- Managing relationships with key industry/awarding bodies (such as EUSR) and attending regular meetings and/or ensuring that Cadent and Learning Delivery are appropriately represented at various forums/working groups

**What You’ll Bring**

**Qualifications**:

- IQA certification or equivalent (incl V1/TAQA)
- Full UK Driving License.
- EV/EQ certification (desirable)

**Practical Experience**:

- Specialist knowledge of and experience in implementing and maintaining a robust and fit for purpose governance and assurance framework that covers the entire Training Delivery remit, including product and programme creation, training delivery and assessmentand evaluation across Technical and Business skills training.
- Excellent knowledge and ability in the use of online and digital technologies to improve and streamline the quality assurance process
