In conjunction with peers, co-ordinate and organise day to day activities of the operation staff within the department and to support the development of a cost effective customer responsive service.

The overall purpose of the job is to work as part of a team and to be the first point of contact for the Domestic Assistants. When working in the community this will also include Portering Assistants.

To be committed to take part in providing the best quality cleaning services to the environment within the Health Board’s premises. To share leaned practices with others in developing cleaning services as changes are made over time to allow the department and individuals to react to changing needs.

To use skills to the best advantage when supervising, training and auditing cleaning processes with Domestic Assistants in a variety of areas from very high risk to low risk as classified by the National Standards of Cleanliness that require management of different audit lead times. To monitor and sustain best cleaning practices and ensure that self and others provide this to the standard required.

To provide assistance to the Assistant Hotel Services Manager (Domestic) in the carrying out of their duties and to make responsible decisions in their absence and to support the development of a cost effective customer responsive service.

Domestic Supervisor required to work on rota, working at Ysbyty Penrhos Stanley and supporting some Community sites. 37.5 hours per week

08.00-20.00

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
