Job Summary:
Castle Craig Hospital is a centre of excellence for the treatment of addiction, rated ‘Exceptional’ by our regulators Healthcare Improvement Scotland. We are an abstinence-based, 12 Step programme for addictions and have run a successful therapy programme since 1988.
We are located 30 minutes from Edinburgh and 45 minutes from Glasgow, in the beautiful Scottish Borders. We are leaders in the UK and European rehab field, treating up to 80 patients onsite and 50 over teletherapy. We also have clinics and networks in Ireland, London, the Netherlands, Sweden and France.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the executive, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organising files and documents.
- Manage the executive's calendar and schedule, ensuring all appointments are kept on time and travel arrangements are made, as necessary.
- Help with personal care needs such as assistance with mobility and transfer needs, and medication management.
- Monitor for any problematic signs of the executive's health and report any concerns to the nominated caregiver.
- Help with household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying of personal effects.
- Accompany the executive to appointments and events, providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an executive assistant and/or caregiver, preferably with elderly individuals.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with empathy and patience.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Basic personal care knowledge.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18-24 per week
