Demon Recruitment Group is looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Planner that has experience within the Pharma/Retail or FMCG Industry
You will have a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role and be educated to a minimum at degree level
Salary - £30,000 - £35,000
**Job Description**:
- Ensure all Purchase Orders are received and approved in the correct manner from customers
- Ensure all orders placed with suppliers are correct and receipt of the orders are confirmed
- Ensure all supplier key milestones are achieved
- Ensure all product supplied from outside of the UK is received efficiently and despatched timely by the freight forwarding agent
- Ensure all inventory is held by the storage site for an agreed minimum time period
- Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance with agreed customer requirements
- Ensure all batch shipping documentation is available and accompanies the products in accordance with internal documentation from the supplier to the customer
- Ensure all customer forecasts are current and maintained
- Ensure all supply chain activity meets compliance
- To manage projects, activities and miscellaneous tasks as instructed by the Supply Chain Executive and or General Manager from time to time.
- Timely update customer on open orders delivery time-lines.
- Timely update UK sales team on stock status.
- Analyse inventory and manage supply chain activities.
- Closely monitor supply of the product during market shortage and ensuring earliest possible supply in order to gain maximum market share and margins.
