Portering Supervisor

Job Introduction

As a Portering Supervisor at Sodexo in North Devon District Hospital, you will be an occasional joke teller and calming friend. You will put patients at ease with a big smile and big heart, getting them where they need to go. What you’ll do:
Supervise and develop your team
Managing teams workload, ensuring adequate staffing levels, completing rosters and payroll
Ensuring smooth service operation within ward
Be a champion of health and safety and use any personal protective equipment provided

What you bring:
Good customer service and communication skills
Empathetic towards patients and visitors
Previous experience within portering services or similar environment and previous experience managing or supervising a team
Respect and support for people’s equality and diversity
