Shipping Clerk

We are looking to recruit a Shipping Clerk to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, genuine and friendly person.

In this role you will be a key member of the team reporting to the Directors.

Busy Freight Forwarder requires Shipping Clerk to assist in the day to day tasks of the business.

Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

**Job Description**:
Day to Day operational responsibilities including:
Handling & Processing of documents

Release of shipments

Transport orders

Customs Clearance

Booking in delivery

Excel Spreadsheet / Schedule

Liasoning with Hauliers, Customers delivery point etc.

Very good Telephone manner and commitment to customer service is a necessity.

Must be able to work on own initiative.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Arrange Transport in accordance with company agreements

Co-ordinate requests and arrange bookings from customers

Raise collection /delivery notes and ensure all transport details are correct

Pay: From £21,000.00 per year
