- Childcare Practitioner
- Salary: £10.42
- Permanent, 30 hours per week - Term Time Only

A great opportunity has become available for a Childcare Practitioner to work within a fantastic Pre-School setting based in the Smethwick area, supporting children’s learning and development and helping children thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. **The role of the Childcare Practitioner**:

- Full time permanent, Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:00pm, Term Time only
- Salary: £10.42 per hour
- Working in a fun, fast paced environment, providing stimulating activities and supporting day to day routines
- Working with children aged 2-5 years

**The responsibilities of the Childcare Practitioner**:

- Key worker responsibilities including planning, observations, progress reports and working with the EYFS framework
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children is paramount
- Daily care routines, ensuring all child’s need are met
- Parent partnership, providing daily feedback to parents and maintaining strong bonds with parents and carers
- Updating daily learning journeys and care diaries

**The requirements for the Childcare Practitioner**:

- Must hold a minimum full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification
- Full and relevant Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- Have exceptional understanding of safeguarding
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Good computer skills and literacy skills are essential to this role
- Experience working within an Early Years setting desired but not essential
