**CNC MachinistPosition Overview**

Our client are a world class manufacturer of high quality machined cast components supporting globally Motorsport, Automotive OEM's and Defence clients. The company are growing and expanding into new industries, therefore to support this are looking foran experienced Quality Manager to join the team. The in-house machine shop is equipped with the latest Mazak 5 Axis CNC deliver complete machined high precision components to our leading global Motorsport, Automotive OEM and Defence customer from one bespokedevelopment, prototypes through to low volume series.

You will be responsible for Machine aluminium, iron and stainless-steel castings to a high quality.
- Programming, Setting and operating on 5 axis machining centres
- You will be able to create and edit machine programs on Mazatrol and or Heidenheim controls.
- Inspect your machining with hand held measurement tools including Height Gauges, Vernier's, and Bore Mics.

**CNC MachinistPosition Requirements**
- You will ideally be apprentice trained or time machinists and have a minimum of 5 years CNC machining experience complex components.
- You must have experience working primarily with Mazak and/or Heidenheim controls and programming using Mazatrol with any other Offline CAM programming experience beneficial.
- Proven experience setting and machining iron and steel castings on 5 axis machining centres.
- Competent to use hand held measurement tools including eight Gauges, Vernier's, and Bore Mics. We would be interested if you have CMM inspection experience.
- You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team and have the flexibility to be prepared to support our customers demands when needed.

**CNC MachinistPosition Remuneration**
- Permanent position with an hourly rate of £15.00 to £18.00 per hour dependent upon experience.
- 23 days (inclusive on Bank Holidays) per year.
- Full-Time, 40 hrs per week.
- Overtime opportunities (there is lots of overtime available with at least 10 hours each week guaranteed at 1.5 the hourly rate)
