A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Ward Clerk team in the Child Health Department.

The role involves preparing the clinic notes for the patients returning to the unit, also scanning and the filing of patients notes on to the computer system (CPD) All training will be given.

All ward clerking aspects of this role will evolve over time and further opportunities are available to progress in the organisation.

The role is varied and busy - working closely with the clinical team, assisting patients and families with their enquiries. This role is fast paced and rewarding. You will also help to provide clerical support across the wider Child Health department. This is a great way to see and support the work in a busy hospital and offers good development opportunities as well as the staff incentives that the NHS offers its staff.
