**Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT)**

Salary - £35,000 - £43,000

Full time - 37.5 hours per week

Location - Blackpool

**Role**

As a CBT Therapist you will play a pivotal role in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Your expertise and dedication will empower our clients to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve sustainable recovery.

**Key Responsibilities**
- You’ll work with adults within our alcohol service and deliver CBT one to one, (but it can also be used in a group setting)
- You’ll work alongside other clinicians, such as wellbeing practitioners, clinical psychologists, mental health nurses.
- Your responsibilities may entail overseeing referrals and directing individuals to appropriate agencies, necessitating close collaboration with healthcare professionals, employment and education advisers (IPS), as well as support staff.
- You could work in a variety of Multi agency settings, and various partners across the Blackpool landscape.
- Services can be based in GP practices, healthcare centres or other community venues.
- You will be provided with ongoing supervision to help you engage in self-reflection, seek, and respond to feedback, and develop your professional knowledge and skills.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- Qualified CBT Therapist with relevant accreditation and registration.
- Demonstrated experience in providing CBT interventions within a clinical/community setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the
- Ability to engage effectively with complex clients and healthcare professionals.
- Flexibility (might be a requirement to work in evening clinics)
- Adherence to NHS guidelines, ethical standards, and professional codes of conduct.
- Experience of working with people who have experienced trauma, experience of work in adult Mental health services.
- Ability to engage and motivate across a variety of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to implement/lead change effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all people.
- An organised and systematic approach to work.
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills.
- Attention to detail, resilience and adaptability.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and autonomously.
- Ambition, and a passion about the objectives of the role.
