**JOB ROLE**:Support Worker

**LOCATION**: Hazeldene, Morriston

**SALARY**:£10.90 to £11.70* per hour

**SHIFT PATTERNS**:08:30AM - 21:00PM & 21:00PM - 08:30AM.

Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking both full time (35 hours per week) and part time hours (23.5 hours per week) Support Workers to join our team at Hazeldene

Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as a Support Worker and through ongoing training and coaching they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development

**About Hazeldene**:
Hazeldene is a residential service that supports up to 6 people with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries. We have been providing slow stream rehabilitation for individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury and complex needs for more than 25 years. At Hazeldene our aim is to maximise a person’s independence in a comfortable environment, helping them to reach their personal goals and aspirations.

**As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including**:

- Prompting service users independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
- Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
