**Flights Consultant - Sports Travel**

This fast growing, exceptional business who specialise in Sports Travel are looking for someone to join them as a Flights Consultant to work on one of their most high-profile teams to book flights globally, for anyone associated with this high-profile sporting event.

**Flights Consultant - What will I be doing ?**
- You will be working on a high-profile account booking flights for individuals and some groups to worldwide destinations for events worldwide
- You will be using the Sabre system, but the business will cross train from one of the other major GDS's
- You will also be issuing airline tickets as well as dealing with lots of re-issues as there are always lots of changes to be made.

**Flights Consultant - What experience do I need ?**
- It is essential that you have booked flights previously using a GDS - ideally within a Business Travel Consultant role.
- Perhaps you have worked as a Corporate Travel Consultant or as a Leisure Travel Consultant using Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo to book the flights.
- You will ideally have ticketing experience, but this can be trained
- You will need to have the ability to recalculate & reissue tickets & refunds accurately and ideally an understanding of a variety of complex fares and the ability to fare build & issue tickets.

**Flights Consultant - What else do I need to know?**

This is a Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30 role but you might need to stay late on occasions at busy times. There is a rota that requires you to be on call at a weekend once every 6 weeks or so, once you are fully trained. The role can be based either in the office in Sussex 3 days a week and 2 days from home, or fully remotely, although you would need to visit the office once every month.
