Job description

Alban House is a 23 bed residential care home in Ilfracombe that is looking for experienced carer's to join our friendly team as our residency grows.

**_Job Summary_**

To support our residents in a person centered fashion in a way that empowers them and provides them with a meaningful life.

**_Responsibilities_**
- To actively support the service user with all aspects of personal care such as dressing, washing, bathing and toileting.
- To support service users with mobility in line with their care plan and preferences.
- To promote good mental health and well being by providing social, religious and cultural activity provision
- To support with small housekeeping duties in order to maintain the homely environment
- To support and encourage the residents to maintain a balanced diet and good hydration levels.
- To answer call bells, the door, the telephone and greet visitors to the home.
- To complete written records regarding the care provision delivered.
- To always comply with Alban House guidelines and policies
- To attend all training, supervision, appraisals and staff meetings
