**Wage**:Up to £11.50 ph

Dash is a speciality ‘grab and go’ coffee shop in the heart of Leigh-on-Sea. We are passionate about bringing speciality coffee to the community with a focus on providing a complete experience We are do everything to a very high standard, from cleaning to making excellent coffee and engaging with locals. It is all done with energy and determination. **Who are we looking for?**

As our Barista you should be passionate about the customer experience, coffee and building a great team Help us cultivate an amazing coffee experience, and you'll want to tell others about it

You’ll act as a role model in all you do, inspiring and set the tone for others. You’ll thrive on delighting customers, putting them at the centre of everything you do. Your role as Barista is integral to the success of our shop and you will work closely with the owners and our roasters to develop products and ensure only the highest quality coffee is served.

Dash is looking for staff to join our all star team who is comfortable with being part of a dynamic team but who:

- Have a Dashitude and genuinely enjoy talking to customers
- Hands-on, supporting and working as part of a small team
- Being able to provide cover with the other staff as required on a daily basis, so experience as Barista is preferable.
- Espresso skills including dialling in grinders; ability to pour consistent latte art preferable but not essential.
- Have great attention to detail in everything you do.
- Be extremely hard working, consciences & reliable.

**Coffee shop equipment**

We use a La Marzocco Linea PB 2 Group Coffee Machine and a Mahlkonig Electronic Grinder.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Offer an amazing coffee experience.
- Serve the perfect coffee every time.
- Make local friends within your community and actively seek collaborations.
- Maintain an organised system for scheduling, ordering and ensure cash 100% accurate.
- Ensure workstation and shop is always clean and tidy. Do weekly & monthly cleaning.
- Ensure stock is recorded and up to date.
- One day a weekend is required but you will get a day in the week off in lieu.
