**Job Summary**

PSI Global is looking for a painter to paint and decorate residential and commercial properties. You will paint walls, paint ceilings, paint doors, windows, furniture, and other interior and exterior features of buildings. A good painter must have great patience since they will be patient while painting a room or property. Additionally, a great painter must have great skill in communicating with customers to ensure a positive experience.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Prepare the job site prior to painting
- Choose the right colors for the painting
- Take measurements of surfaces to determine the amount of coverage needed
- Measure surfaces to calculate the amount of space left without painting
- Pick up necessary materials from job site or store
- Paint a room or property with attention to detail and safety
- Ensure the quality of each piece of paint used to ensure a better result later

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a painter
- Knowledge of common color combinations and how they affect the viewer’s view
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong commitment to safety when painting (e.g. using safety tools)
- Excellent physical condition and strength with this job could be very physically demanding. This position requires frequent lifting, moving heavy furniture, and working in confined spaces. Lifting up to 100 lbs is required on occasion.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £17.00 per hour
