Experience Medical Summariser/ Coder

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic Summariser to join our Administrative team. Experience in medical summarising or in a medical field is preferable, but training can be given.

**Job summary**

**Main duties/key tasks**:

- Reorganising and summarising patient records and letters in preparation for summarising
- Reviewing medical records and producing an accurate summary of the patient’s medical history
- Identify the higher risk areas that require input or knowledge from the clinical team, including safeguarding issues, working to the agreed protocols.
- Identify and refer any clinical actions to the GPs
- Read coding the information into the practice clinical system
- Monitoring progress of notes summarising against practice targets
- Monitoring patient call and recall systems
- Filing and retrieving paperwork

Experience this role or similar is desirable. Salary dependant on experience.

Part-time hours: 30 per week
