A highly experienced Telephony Engineer is needed to join our team at Central Bedfordshire Council based in Shefford.

This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home and any CBC offices, including Priory House, Shefford. You will be expected to attend a CBC office location on a monthly basis and as needed to carry out your role.

This six-month contract will need you to deliver from day one, aiding the Council's migration to Teams Telephony.

You will be a technical lead in our Microsoft Teams telephony migration programme, ensuring we migrate successfully to our new Teams Telephony solution. You will preferably hold one or more Microsoft Teams certifications.

**About the Role**
Through the continued growth in Central Bedfordshire’s digital footprint, we have a great opportunity for a highly experienced Microsoft Teams telephony specialist within the Council’s IT team.

We deliver secure corporate networks and public internet wifi solutions across the Council campus, core and small sites, as well as a converged voice telephony solution to all staff. You will have current experience of working in a high-pressure IT departmentin a telecoms role. As a confident and clear communicator, you are keen to work with stakeholders across the council. You will demonstrate the delivery of wide-ranging telecoms solutions.
