The Role:
Lead Designer to join the Marketing Team; as the Lead Designer you will be helping lay the foundation for long-term product growth. You will build and execute a design vision and create a home for design to thrive. You will own the entire design lifecycle fromholistic problem-focused research to UX strategy through visual design and customer validation.
- A proven career working as a creative designer
- Able to lead and overview multiple projects from kick-off to delivery, guiding the team through creative development and refinement rooted in brand strategy
- Self-starting individual who shows the initiative to problem solve, manage projects and complete tasks on deadline
- You design with the audience at heart, using design thinking and strategy to guide your approach in building exceptional brand systems and experiences
- You have a clear understanding of design thinking and strategy and how it helps to drive a project
- You can mentor junior members of the team across creative and content, ensuring understanding of how guidelines can be applied and challenged
- Understanding of functional design, type hierarchy, purpose driven design
- You think creatively and propose new design ideas to further develop the brand identity and continuously evolve output to keep designs fresh and innovative.
- Able to adapt to different brand styles and guidelines, maintaining consistency
- Collaborating on the ideation and leading ownership of the output of all design content
Skills & Experience:

- 3+ years experience as a designer
- Proficient user of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- A good understanding of visual design principles.
- Experience creating digital assets for a variety of target audiences.
- Social media and digital creativity experience
- Portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities
- Lightroom Photo editing and retouching capabilities
- After Effects knowledge a bonus
- Great concept skills with a good eye for composition, colour and layout
