B2B Marketing runs seven annual events - a mixture of conferences, awards and boutique events across the full spectrum of B2B Marketing. These events include B2B Ignite, The Global ABM Conference, the Propolis Leaders Forum and our B2B Marketing Awards.

**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Events, the Event Content Producer will work with all areas of the business to scope, develop and deliver the themes, content and speakers for our full calendar of events for B2B marketers.

Our events are renowned for the expert-led advice, insights and intelligence they provide, and we are constantly driven to make them the must attend events for B2B marketers. We are looking for someone who shares that passion and wants to deliver excellent event experiences that inspire, inform and connect the B2B marketing community.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Deliver commercially viable events based on in-depth market research relevant to the topic and audience.
- Own the agenda for each event from end to end, building a programme with the right balance of speakers, formats and topics.
- Identify current and emerging business trends and translate these into event content that aligns with our target audience and keeps the agendas and formats relevant each year.
- Identify and engage high profile, innovative speakers/sponsors and partner with them to develop their sessions.
- Continually undertake research and reading to build industry knowledge and develop a robust understanding of the current drivers and influences behind our customers’ decisions.
- Work closely with the events, sales and operations team to ensure the successful planning and execution of events, ensuring all set events processes are followed.
- Bring ideas and innovative thinking to continually evolve content and formats to stay ahead of the market.
- Work closely with Propolis enterprise team to help nurture and grow relationships with Propolis prospects and members by integrating them into the events agendas.
- Work closely with Sponsorship team to help build relationships with event sponsors to grow revenue for the business and ensure a high rebook rate at events. Manage sponsor relationships on events and projects throughout the year as it relates to events content.
- Work closely with Propolis experts, board members and senior members of the team to develop the themes, stages, purpose of events and fulfil the speaker profile quotas.
- Evaluate and research existing awards categories and criteria to evolve, develop and create a successful awards programme.
- Lead on development of the value proposition for each conference.
- Review and edit session titles and synopsises as required to ensure they are benefit led and relevant to the target audience.
- Work with the marketing team to create marketing frameworks and social plans for all events.
- Manage all pre-event speaker liaison including co-ordination of bios & photos, session content/ slides
- Work with speakers to create content to promote their session.
- Be the main point of contact onsite at events for speaker liaison and management of content theatres
- Grow existing events to reach new revenue targets.
- Contribute to the monthly board reports.

**Key metrics**:

- Event ticket revenue and registration targets
- Quantitative and qualitative content & speaker research
- Event NPS score
- Creation and nurturing of Propolis prospects through speaker acquisition.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone with Event Content Producer experience who is able to demonstrate drive and commitment to succeed. With a passion for creating successful content-led events - a strong writer with an interest in B2B marketing who loves research.

The role would also be suited to someone with editorial/ research experience, who is looking to change careers and has transferable skills.
