**Doggy Daycare Assistant & Driver**

**Salary - £22,030 per annum**

**Hours - 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday - Friday)**

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience of working with dogs
- Have an understanding in dog care requirements
- Passion and interest for dogs and their development
- Confident working both alone and as part of a team
- Comfortable working with and managing groups of dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Highly organised, forward thinking and self-motivated
- Willing to work in all types of weather, rain or shine
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic IT knowledge
- Full clean UK driving licence (held for a minimum of two years)
- Must be confident driving a van
- Has initiative and confidence in themselves

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Driving The Mucky Hound company vehicle to collect, transport and return several dogs safely to and from doggy daycare and their home
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness of the Centre and company vehicle, clearing up and cleaning regularly
- Walking the dogs in groups, 1-2-1 sessions, engaging in training and breed specific activities.
- Washing dogs and grooming to ensure they are returned home clean
- Implementing training plans and enrichment exercises suggested for each individual dog
- Being observant and reporting to management any signs of illness or behaviour problems
- Preparing food and feeding the puppies who require lunch
- Always working on self improvement and increasing canine knowledge
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and clear
- Ensuring a high level of personal hygiene and physical presentation. Wearing the uniform provided and making sure you are dressed appropriately for changing weather conditions
- Accepting and completing jobs through PSP
- Updating clients through PSP
- Using the fuel card to purchase fuel for you vehicle
- Using your own personal mobile phone for access to PSP, all correspondence with clients needs to be through the PSP app.
