Data Protection Litigator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor with experience to join our Data Protection team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of the team in our Sheffield office and acting for our national client base. You will be responsible for running your own case load and reporting to the partners in the team.

**Primary Duties**
- Run your own caseload through the litigation process to Trial, ensuring that all claims are up to date and progressed in the correct time frame and according to approved processes
- Taking potential customers through a full claim assessment and fact find over the phone and assessing if they have had a financial loss and if a claim can be made.
- To review incoming information and establish the claim route
- Establish at the earliest opportunity an entity who a claim can be brought against
- Checking all compliance requirements were on the file, i.e.. Research, AML evidence, Terms of Business
- Request all relevant information from the relevant parties as soon as identified
- Be proactive and use initiative when presented with problems or issues
- Provide excellent customer service by regularly updating clients on the progress of their case, costs and answering any queries in a professional manner
- You will be joining a very busy team so you will need to be energetic, enthusiastic and work well under pressure and well with others. You will have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate commitment and drive whilst delivering high quality service at all times

**Salary**: From £35,000.00 per year
